![]() ![]() and I think I selected "boot last last successful Windows boot" or something to that effect. Image (from just the Windows install and drivers) would not work. From there it went downhill and then to would not boot into Windows at all. I thought it was slow shutdown before that. While Windows worked, after I added Nvidia Driver.the shutdown slowed to 4 minutes. surely Microsoft would not install SP1 on top of SP1. Some suggested it was a poorly worded update. ![]() One was KB976932 - "Windows 7 Service Pack 1 for 圆4 based systems". which is also noted in the Microsoft Community.Īfter getting these two updates install (screenshot of JUST THESE two installed - KB3020369 & KB3125574), Dell drivers, and security software, updated using Windows Update. Followed Instructions from Dell Support article "Windows 7 update is not working". Started Windows 7 SP1 re-install from Dell SP1 media from 2011. Want to know if somebody has a fix for this issue so I don't waste more time than necessary. UPDATED QUESTION: DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF DELL PART # H3M23_A00 (US-OHM23-74287 on plastic package) - which is Dell OS Recovery and Restore USB Key - takes you through updates (including KB976902), or truly just restores to original factory setting which would not have any updates? ![]()
